Gwyn and Sunny were both pigs and they were really cute together. I couldn’t
think of anything better for Sunny to be. We had over 50 Trick or
Treaters come to our house this year. We again put up the baby gate
and every time the doorbell rang, Sunny would go running. He loved
to see all the kids.
They all thought his costume was the best!
Gwyn also had a great time on her first Halloween! We started out with both of them going door-to-door. Unfortunately, Sunny just didn’t understand the concept of going door-to-door and not being able to go inside, so we had to take him back home after just a few houses. Gwyn went to about 10 houses and we almost had a full bag of candy so we came on home. It was another great Halloween even though Sunny didn’t get to go to the pumpkin patch with us this year. It’s just way too much to take both babies everywhere.

Sunny and Gwyn have kept me very busy this last month! Gwyn is just about crawling and has become very interested in her brother. She tries to get his ball and climb all over him. She thinks his ball is the funniest thing in the world. Sunny has his favorite ball, which is a big squeaky green ball. Daddy will throw it and Gwyn laughs so hard when Sunny runs after it. She also loves to watch Sunny hucklebutt around the room. When he starts running she throws her little arms in the air and screams and smiles and laughs so hard. It is by far one of the cutest things in the world.
Sunny knows Gwyn likes his ball and when daddy throws it he runs and gets it and takes it to her. She tries to grab it, but of course Sunny is way to strong for her to be able to get it out of his mouth. But he is very gentle with her. He still loves to lick her ears and she still hates it. Gwyn now loves to eat table food. Sunny has also learned that when he stands under her high chair that lots of yummy treats will fall down to him. Gwyn has learned that when she is finished Sunny gets the rest of whatever is on her tray. She will take her little fingers and pick up her fruit puffs, lean over the side of the chair, find Sunny and drop them down to him. He thinks it is the greatest thing in the world. It’s also great for me because if we didn’t have Sunny, I would have to clean up so many messes. But he does all of that for me. We don’t have to worry about any food smashed into the carpet because the second it hits the ground it goes into Sunny’s mouth. He is very good with this! He told me that it’s the best thing about having a baby in the house. He really does love her. I can’t imagine how crazy things will be around here once she gets mobile. We will be there in a couple weeks for sure. Sunny has really developed a cute relationship with her and I can’t wait to see them become best friends!
Sunny is at the vet at the moment. He is getting his nails trimmed and he is getting a cortizone shot. This is the time of year when he gets allergies really bad and all his hair falls out and he gets really bumpy. Poor Sunny. I hate to see him looking anything but beautiful. But, he is so good and he doesn’t complain about it, and I know it must be very unpleasant. He is just always so itchy in the fall with all the new grass growing. Hopefully this shot will make him feel so much better.
Well, Sunny just got home and Gwyn wants to go say hi to her brother.
She is always so excited to see him! Thanksgiving and Christmas are just
around the corner and I can’t imagine what the holidays will hold
for us this year! I can’t wait!!!
