Well, Sunny lovers. We are up to $380.00 for donations! I cannot thank everyone enough for how generous you have all been. My mom says it really shows you that there are still some really good people left in this world. I would prefer to call you angels for what you have done for our family. It looks like we may only have to come up with a few hundred dollars out of our pocket to pay for his sugery. That is incredible because I was in tears desperately thinking about how we could come up with so much money and then you guys helped us so much.

Sunny is doing so very well. He is going stir crazy spending so much time in his crate but he is getting 100 percent better everyday. His incision is very large, but it is clean and I don’t see any infection. As far as I know Sunny is out of the danger zone. There shouldn’t be any reason for us to worry as the incision site is nice, closed, and pretty clean. Sunny has not messed with it at all. He does not like to have blood on his legs though where it drains. So we try to keep him clean. The only problem we have had is that he likes to jump up and surf Gwyn’s chair for crumbs and that always results in his stiches tearing a bit and then he gets a bleeder. I don’t know what to do other than keep him crated most of the time.

He is such a goofball. He is going to the potty very well. They have him on some wet food crap that he totally hates so we have to really doctor it up with yummy stuff to get him to eat it. I am going back to his kibble and baby food tonight, so he should be much happier. He is just so happy to be home. He is such a good Bully. He is still getting pains meds and he is so funny. After he gets those meds he totally passes out in his crate and has some really crazy dreams cause his legs start twitching and he starts barking like a little puppy. I totally know how he feels since I was just in the hospital myself, and I remember how goofy those drugs made me. I don’t know though how he goes all day and doesn’t complain and bark his head off at how painful his incision must be. What can I say other than he is the best Bully in the world. Sunny is such a love, and I am so totally greatful God decided he could stay here with us a little while longer. His work isn’t done yet! I will update tomorrow!
