I just wanted to let everyone know the hard time I am currently having
with the Bull Terrier list. After I post this, here I will most likely
be banned, but that is ok if the moderator is ok with doing that and
doesn’t feel she has been unkind to me in any way, then so be
it.
I wrote this email yesterday to the list:
Oh my, Jane. Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for adding my Sunny’s
needs to your auction. I can’t believe it and I am so thankful to
you. We need this soooooo much and I can’t believe how totally awesome
the Bull Terrier community has been in our time of need. Please bid on
these items to help us help our Sunny.
So far donations are at around $300.00
and that is $300.00 more than I expected we would get. I am in tears
as I write this because I just can’t stress enough how wonderful everyone
has been. To donate to someone in need at a time like this, you guys are
truly angels and to donate to someone most of you have never even met in
person and just know as a face. It’s wonderful. I will remember this
forever!
I will try and update Sunny’s page tonight and add some
more pictures! He is doing wonderfully....thanks to all of your prayers!

This message was banned. The moderator replied back
with a rather nasty note...it read:
Lisa,
The list is not to be used to solicit funds for your personal pet. We’ve
all been in positions where we go to the edge or beyond for our dogs.
I do NOT
want
to hear from you on this again, and do not want any messages back from
you on this subject, or I will block your e-mail address and remove you
from the List.
I am sorry for your troubles and ill health, and sorry
that Sunny has been so sick, but everyone in the world faces financial
hardship and difficult
choices. In the future, please e-mail privately when you are soliciting
funds for your private use.
-Moderator of the Bull Terrier List
When my father committed suicide, many of my friends were very supportive
and wanted to know what had happened to him. She also rejected all of
those posts saying that the Bull Terrier list was only about Bull Terriers
and not about loved ones committing suicide. This was only a week after
my beloved father took his life. Here I am with my heart and soul ripped
from my chest, and there is a lady telling me that it doesn’t matter
that I have hundred of friends on the list who care about me and would
want to know about my dad because it just didn’t pertain to Bull
Terriers.
I don’t know how you guys feel, but I thought that was just downright
inhumane to treat another Bull Terrier owner like that especially since
my dad was always Sunny’s best friend, and I had spoke of him on
many occasions.
So, if you guys don’t hear any more updates from me on Sunny,
you will know why. She doesn’t approve 90 percent of my messages
anyways, so it doesn’t really matter. Some people only care about
their dogs and not the people behind the dogs who I have learned are
just as
important. I have heard the same situation has happened to many of you
too, and I would love to hear your stories. I think we need a new list
and I am thinking of making one myself for all of us who have been rejects
from the Bull Terrier list.
